BRAVO COMPANY


Ellon Detachment.

is one of 8 Detachments within B Company. There are 3 Company's within our Battalion, Alpha, Bravo and Charlie Company.
Each Company has around 8 Detachments, covering the whole of Aberdeenshire
What's New?



First of all a well done to all of those cadets who took part in the sports competition in Grangemouth at the end of last month and a big congratulations to all of the competitors who won medals and came top in their events. A special mention to Cpl Buchanan, Stonehaven, who ended the day with a gold and two silver medals.
Also at Grangemouth was the piping, drumming, pipe major and Highland dancing competitions. As always the battalion was well represented and those who took part did very well. prizes were picked up by Cpl simpson from Stonehaven who won gold, Sgt Simpson Stonehaven who won silver, Cdt Grant Aboyne who also won Silver and Cpl Cameron-Cook collecting first place in her pipe major competition and also won the Highland dancing for the second year in a row.

How do i join?
You can join the Army Cadet Force (ACF) as soon as you as your into your 13th year (13 before the 31st of December of the year) and can stay in until your 18 and nine months.

Adult Instructors
The ACF is the oldest youth organisation in the UK. It's even older than the Territorial Army!
What we need, to help develop these young adults, is someone who is willing to lead from the front. A BORN LEADER!
All you need to be is Aged 20 - 44 No former cadet or military experience is needed. Just so long as you've got what it takes, we'll give you all the training you need to help you develop your skills. We'll even pay for some of your time.


Drum and Pipe Major
Have you got an ear for music? Come on and join the Band of the 2nd Battalion The Highlanders ACF where you can learn how to play the Pipes and Drums from our Pipe Major and RSM. Want to know more... Stay Tuned.
